zoom..zoom.....watch out roads here they come

I got a visit yesterday from a biker boy with a biker chick!

Ian and Anna came to visit me and I just had to snap a picture of the two cuties!

a sleepover with our neices...

This Saturday night we picked up our favorite gals, Allie and Jaylyn and they came to spend the night with Uncle Phil and Aunt Lori.

We went and ate wings and curly fries and then went bowling.
Phil and Jaylyn bonded and bowled together, it was cute to watch him help her she gave her Uncle Phil high fives all night. She didnt want Aunt Lori which is a first but wanted him. We all bowled but Allie and Uncle Phil played more games. Allie is so good at all sports and is our pride and joy.

We then went and bought stuff to make ice cream sundaes and rented movies.
Me and the girls slept together, Allie amazes me with Jaylyn, she is the best sister. I was almost asleep when I heard “I love you” “love you too sissy” and Allie leaned over and kissed her and put her arm around her.

Next day the girls and I took the dogs for a walk. Allie with Copper and Jaylyn with Floyd which she was very proud she walked all by herself. Her at 4 and him a good 90 pounds, pretti impressive!

We love our gals and cant wait till they come again for another over nighter!

friday with grammy and pa........

My grammy and pa are two of my favorite people in the whole world and I am blessed to have the most unique "grammy" who is the most spunky gal and a great friend. She and Pa have considered Amy a second grandaughter over the years of watching us grow up and love her like their own. Amy and I all thru high school and college years would go down and hang out with Grammy! She is great for a laugh and perfect for cheering up whenver life throws you curves.

We dont make it down there as much as we would like anymore but Friday afternoon they were introduced to little Layla and we all visited. We have never left their house without her saying "come back soon"
They are "smitten" with Layla, and of course us! Dont worry Grammy "we'll come back soon!" We love you!

a kodak moment....

Phil and I as most know adore our boxers! When we first got Floyd right after our honeymoom I swore he would be an outdoor dog, then a house dog but only in certain rooms, then he could run the house but not on furniture. We then took an old Snover family boxer in named Norman. After Normmie died we got Copper for Floyd.

As you can see the baby boxer Copper who is almost 3 (he still has a puppy face and soft puppy fur) he's Phil's little guy.
Floyd is my big boy and follows me everywhere...never thought i would understand the dog is man's best friend. ..hehe
Floyd and Copper are the Snover boyz...so much for not being a dog person!

dinner with boo...

My friend Kelly who I call "boo" (a silly name that has stuck for six years now) and I have not seen eachother for a ridiculous amount of time (almost 2 yrs), no excuse for the two of us we decided made a dinner date for friday night.

I got to see Gavin her 2 year old little boy for a split second before going off to dad's and then catch up with her daughter Cassie who has grown up into a gorgeous teenager before my eyes!

Next time no burger at Billy Ann's no matter what my craving is Boo! Thanks for the fun night, I love how it feels like we didn't miss a beat when were together.

welcome to the world Kade....

Friday I went and visited friends and there was new little one to add to the list.

welcome to the world Layla......

My dearest and oldest friend Amy just had a new little baby girl Layla Nicole Moord.
Amy and I have been friends since we were toddlers and have been awaiting this chapter in our lives to be mommy's. I was able to be with her when she started her contractions and then onward for 4 hours up until she went to the hospital. It has made me a lot less nervous to say the least about starting labor, she was so calm, strong, and we laughed w/ nervousness.
Little Layla was born and is the most beautiful little girl!
Welcome to the world little Layla....we love you so and you are such a blessing from God!

....and then there was four snover boys!

We are having a little man!
First Snover Boy on both our sides!

We had our 20 week ultrasound this week, I wanted to know what we were having (curiosity always killed the cat) but Phil was thinking he wanted to be surprised. I left the choice completely up to daddy. When we got in there she asked if we wanted to know the sex and Phil looked at me with a smirk and said yes.

She said BOY! Phil asked how sure she was and she said "I’ve been doing this for 16 years and that’s not a third foot" We laughed with excitement and two tears ran down my face as Phil squeezed my hand and a smile on his face from ear to ear!

We watched him bend and his legs, kick, and move his hands up in front of his face, Phil and I thought he looked like he was praying.
What an amazing experience!

Going to be a mommy and daddy!

After four years of marriage and 12 years all together as high school sweethearts, we have been blessed with a lil one in the oven. It's been a long time coming this last year or two with getting stuck in a hurricane on vacation, 3 car Suv pileup I was in, a move to a re-possessed house and new town, hubby away for four months for new job, finding out I had endometriosis, fertility test and then surgery. We are so thankful for all of our friends and family and your support and prayers!

We are so thrilled and I'm off of high risk now that I am in my second trimester.
Thank you Lord for blessing us with a chance to be mom and dad, and with our family and friends!

I love you Phil, thanks for seeing me thru such a rough year in a half!
