Testing the Weight Limit on the Crib

We got a really nice crib for free, but it was missing some screws. Phil got it put together, but wanted to make sure it would hold Colton safely. He decided that since Copper weighs about 50 pounds, he would make a great test dummy. He really seemed comfortable in there.

July 2nd or before

Went to the Dr today, news is I am 50% effaced and 3-4 centimeters dilated.
If I do not go before Monday, July 2nd we will be going in at 3pm to start having this little guy.
Shocked, excited, nervous, and ready to meet him!

Three dates....numerous comments

We have been told three dates now for our little one....July 12, 16, and the 24?

I know he will come when its time, but I have to say, I want him out, I cant wait to meet you sweet Colton and mommy wants her body back.I am miserable with this heat and swollen beyond belief. I want to walk without feeling like someone is stabbing the back of my ankles.

I cant wait till the day when I dont hear some of these comments. (i am out and about and around a large variety of people, professionals, clients, strangers, etc)

Some of my favorites...

"Oh my gosh, are you sure there is not two of them in there, or three even"

"Wow, you've really gotten wide"

"I didnt recogize you"

"You face is so full"

"Your gettin as big as a barn"

"You still have 3-4 weeks left, you look like you could pop now"

"Surely your due now, your huge"

"Your gonna have a lot to loose"

"Are you going to push out a kid that big"

I am not kidding, I have heard every one of these, several times.

copper..our little hunter

I caught Copper this morning before work outside trying to catch a black squirrel I watched him for a good 20 minutes after trying to get him inside. He just sat there waiting and watching, would not budge. He is our little hunter.

This weekend we hung out w/ the fam for father's day.

He is going to be a first time Uncle.

Phil finished off the pond this weekend, we are adding fish next. Very excited!

A full day's work..our new pond

I have been wanting to get a pond out front of our house ever since we bought it, and Phil got me one. The best part is he put it in right away.


20 trips or so with the wheel barrel while I watched.






Thank you baby so much for my new pond! I love it Phil, and I cant believe that you got it all done in one day and by yourself! (expect for Ian helping a little)

I am very impressed cant wait till we get our fish.

First Baby Shower

My wonderful sister-in-law threw me a family baby shower this Sunday.

So thankful for you Ang and glad we got one another!

It was so nice, relaxing, and I am so thankful to have such wonderful family. Thanks everyone for coming, it meant so much! We appreciate it and all your gifts, Colton will look adorable in all the cute clothes. (Phil loved everything, even the plaid shorts Julies)

Jaylyn's big night!

Jaylyn is our princess of the family. She loves to dress up, play with dolls, and has a awesome imagniation.

She started dance this past year and she talks about it all the time. Her face lights up and you cant help but get tickled by how much she loves and enjoys it.

She had her first ever dance recital this Saturday night. We couldnt be more proud and all of us watching her had a full out ear to ear grin on our face. It was so cute!
